At Dentistry for Special People, we offer a unique dental experience for your children that is fun, personable, interactive, individualized, and most important, effective! With two convenient locations in Cherry Hill and Turnersville, New Jersey, we specialize in pediatric dental care for ALL children: healthy children, children with special needs, medically complex children, and children with high anxiety, dental phobias, or a history of past traumatic dental experiences.

No child is too complex, and no child is too “simple”! Our board-certified and board-eligible pediatric dentists, along with our experienced, specially trained staff, use a gentle, tell-show-do approach (“touch, see, feel”) to create a non-threatening environment that puts your son or daughter at ease. We also offer nitrous oxide for kids who need a little something extra to help them relax, and hospital dentistry, for kids who need extensive treatment that they may not be able to tolerate in a traditional office setting.

At Dentistry for Special People, we strongly emphasize preventive care to ensure each youngster grows up with a healthy smile. We encourage our patients to schedule their first visit by the age of ONE, as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

We offer sealants, oral hygiene education, fluoride treatments, and regular checkups with a plan that is individualized to address our patients’ risk of getting cavities. We also offer tooth-colored fillings and innovative new treatments such as SDF (be sure to ask us about it during your visit)!

In our office, we believe in interacting with children on a level they are comfortable with, which makes them easy to manage, and makes us seem not so scary! We welcome parents into the operatory and truly believe in involving the whole family in the process.
